The Remembering the Brave Foundation was born from a conversation between a grief-stricken mother and the Casualty Assistance Officer who came to notify her of her son's heroic actions during the War on Terror. Through the grace of God, persistence and the generous donations of our supporters, we have kept our promise to forever remember the heroes who've made the ultimate sacrifice.
Since 2005, Remembering the Brave has held ceremonies across the nation honoring our brave service members. Additionally, we raise awareness through regional and national events such as Armed Forces Memorial Matches, the Run for Remembrance race, Remembering the Brave Golf Tournament, Kids Can Volunteer recycling program, attendance at scores of community events and through Remembrance Scholarships established in the names of our fallen heroes.
This year we hope to continue honoring our heroes by honoring the children of the fallen. A special ceremony held in Orlando, FL will unite kids with the members who served with their moms and dads for a special weekend of remembrance.
We also hope to continue adding to the Hall of Heroes Memorial - a life-size physical and virtual tribute designed to celebrate and preserve the lives of the men and women who laid down their lives for our freedom.
Your continued support of our heroes and the Remembering the Brave Foundation ensures that we Never Forget.
"The Bravest are the Tenderest, the Loving are the Daring. A Brave man may fall but he cannot yield. The world belongs to the Brave."
