Calif. Gold Star plate initiative passes
California - December 15, 2010
Three hundred thousand dollars were raised in an effort to provide families of fallen heroes with an option to display a Gold-Star license plate on their vehicles.

"The Gold Star Family License Plate is a reminder to all of us of those who have lost their lives while defending ours, and of their families who face each day without their loved ones," said Governor Schwarzenegger. "I am grateful to all who made this license plate possible, and may we never forget the courage, bravery and sacrifice of those in the Armed Forces."

The Remembering the Brave Foundation (RTB), together with Senator Denham, his supporters, and other contributors throughout California, raised approximately one-third of the funds needed to get the license plate initiative passed.

We are thrilled that California Gold Star families have such a significant way to remember the sacrifices of their loved one. Download a letter stating RTBs official contributions to the cause.
