| The Remembering the Brave foundation was recognized for their participation in Make A Difference Day, a national day for helping others that celebrates the extraordinary deeds that were performed by ordinary people on America's largest day of doing good. Make a Difference Day was created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, which takes place on the fourth Saturday of every October.
